The challenge

The fabric material we use, Evolon®, was ideally adapted for the manufacturing of face masks as the textile has a filtration rate up to 96%, perfectly suitable for this application and approved by the DGA (general direction of the armies)

The Puy du Fou is a historical theme park in Les Epesses in the heart of the Pays de la Loire region of Western France. The park brings more than 2 million visitors every year, making it the second most popular theme park in France after Disneyland Paris.

With the Covid-19 sanitary emergency in France, the park has reopened for its direct visitors on Thursday 11 June with drastic health and safety initiatives, in accordance with government guidelines, to ensure guest and employee’ safety at all times.

Our approach

One of the initiatives chosen was to equip the reception teams with face masks made by Corplex’ site based in La Chevrolière in the North West of France. Made in Evolon® textile, in grey colour, the masks fit perfectly with the staff’s costumes. They have been decorated with a tricolor cockade and stamped in the colours of Puy du Fou.

 The results

In total, Corplex has been able to supply 3000 face masks in a very tight timeline to the Puy du Fou before their opening day.

Sarah Goupil from Purchasing Department said: “I wanted to thank you and your team for your responsiveness. The masks were decisive in the opening of the park and we were able to equip our talents as it should, and that in due time. It fits very well with our outfits.”

This success story demonstrates how Corplex has been able to adapt its technology and expertise to address customers’ need in this intense period of uncertainties and of drastic sanitary emergency.
