Paulo succeeds Philippe Herremans, who assumed management in the last quarter of 2022 on a temporary basis and who now returns to his position as Chief Operating Officer of the Corplex Group.
Paulo has held various strategic and corporate development functions, both nationally and internationally, throughout his career. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Business Administration and Management. For the last 20 years he has held commercial management positions of increasing responsibility in companies in various sectors of activity – including packaging – in internationally renowned companies such as RPC and Saint Gobain and, more recently, at Berry Global.
As general director of Corplex Iberia, Paulo will lead the commercial team, collaborating closely with all departments to drive sales, innovation and to achieve high levels of performance and productivity. His experience establishing strong relationships with clients and breaking into new markets is key to identifying and capturing new opportunities that drive Corplex Iberia’s growth in the medium and long term.
Paulo will build on the strategic vision already initiated by Herremans to solidify our current position in the market for extruded polypropylene sheets and packaging solutions providers to key automotive and pharmaceutical sectors, while driving sales to those sectors of activity willing to reduce its environmental footprint and adopt reusable packaging solutions designed, developed and manufactured according to strict circular economy criteria.
