Returnable Transport Packaging (RTP) or reusable transport packaging is multi-purpose packaging in which goods can be transported more than once between two entities. Single-use packaging, on the other hand, will only be used once.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

As soon as a regular freight is identified between two locations, we can speak of a logistics loop or closed loop. For example a central distribution centre and its retail stores or the manufacturer of a car component and the car assembly plant, we can speak of a logistics loop or closed loop.

Closed loop supply chain principles refer to the idea that the supply chain is designed to maintain and recover the value of unused packaging, while maximising efficiency and reducing waste.

Returnable and foldable packaging is ideal for logistics loops as it can be reused several times, and folded when empty to reduce space, thus reducing the number of trucks on the road.

Did you know we offer a Plastics Recovery Program?

At the end of your products life, we will collect the product from you, recycle it and repurpose the material into a new product. That's the circular economy.

Technical Specifications

Manufactured from a blend of prime polymers and additives, Correx® Prime provides a high specification material specifically formulated to provide a tough and highly flexible material suitable for fabric lamination and conversion into complex reusable packaging designs and further refinement, via enhanced manufacturing processes, to provide a tightly tolerance print ready surface for the commercial print industry. To meet the more exacting needs of customers’ applications, the performance characteristics of Correx® Prime can be easily enhanced via the use of additives that offer Anti-Static, Ultra-Violet and Electrostatic Discharge protection (ESD).

Incorporating an absolute minimum of 30% post-industrial and post-consumer waste, Correx® Recycled material is formulated to blend the stable properties of prime materials and additives with increasing proportions of recycled waste recovered from the open market and reprocessed via our external and internal reprocessing operations. Currently suitable for supply in sheet form for low grade construction protection and ground form applications, enhanced formulations of Correx® Recycled material incorporating the tough and highly flexible characteristics of Correx® Prime are currently in the advanced stages of development and targeted to mitigate the commercial impacts of the UK Plastic Packaging Tax scheduled for April 2022 implementation.

Using Correx® Prime as its base, Correx® Certified materials are manufactured using closely controlled manufacturing processes and flame retardant polymer formulations. Specified, tested and approved during laboratory testing to exacting international standards by BRE, regular in-process destructive sample testing ensures that Correx® Certified materials reliably conform to the performance requirements of LPS1207. With every sheet of our Correx® Certified material being supplied with our BRE certification number clearly printed on its surface, customers can confidently differentiate this high specification safety conscious product from other low cost, uncertified and dangerous alternatives.
